All Grossman Reporting Services reporters write "realtime," meaning that they have a notebook computer linked to their stenotype machine in order to simultaneously translate their stenotype "raw" notes into English as the proceedings are taking place.
If counsel desire realtime access to proceedings in order to make notations and/or insert bookmarks onto the rough-draft transcript, they can link to the reporter’s instantaneous transcription through an interactive realtime program (i.e., LiveNote™ or Bridge™). Simply let our calendaring department know of your need for an interactive realtime feed when scheduling your next deposition.
Additionally, attorneys who are not at the site of the proceedings may receive a realtime feed via an Internet connection with streaming data technology from LiveNote™. Simply call our office to order this service. Seventy-two hours advance notice is required to set up an Internet streaming connection.
When depositions are videotaped, the realtime reporter synchronizes time codes with the videographer. Time-code synchronization allows for easy searching of the transcript in conjunction with the videotape.
Our reporters have the ability to interface with the following interactive software:
- LiveNote™
- CaseView™
- Bridge™
